Job Description – 2136 Games Programmer
As a Games Programmer, you will be expected to use an analytical, engineering-focused
approach and expert knowledge of programming languages to develop computer and mobile
games; and ensure game is as functional and robust as the client or consumer needs. While
thenature of the Job may demand that you engage yourself in any relevant task which your
immediate manager or Director assigns you, as a minimum you will be expected to:
• examine existing software and determines requirements for new/modified systems in the
light of business needs;
• undertake feasibility study to design game solutions;
• write and codes individual programs according to specifications;
• develop user interfaces;
• test and corrects game software;
• write code for specialist programming for computer games, (for example, artificial
intelligence, 3D engine development);
• implement and evaluate the software;
• plan and maintain database structures;
• write operational documentation and provides subsequent support and training for users.
Eligibility Requirement – 2136 Games Programmer
• Possess a relevant Bachelors degree (or equivalent)
• At least 5 years of experience developing software/games
• Have worked or lived in the UK
• Knowledge of programming language (C++, Java and Python)
• Communicate in English and one other language
